OJT Weekly Report: Week 10

Period: April 13 – April 16 & April 19, 2026

The tenth week of my internship at the ICTO was characterized by a diverse range of technical deployments and administrative support tasks across several departments of the Kidapawan City LGU. Following our established Monday routine, the week began with the management of the QR code attendance scanning system for the city’s Flag Raising Ceremony. A notable highlight occurred on Tuesday, when we were visited by our OJT Coordinator, Sir Ronald Bajador. This visit allowed us for a productive dialogue regarding our progress, ensuring that we remain aligned with the academic requirements of the Information Systems program.

Throughout the week, I transitioned into an active technical support role that required frequent coordination with other offices. My logistical responsibilities included visiting the Administrative Office to process supply requests and delivering essential documentation to the City Planning Office in preparation for the upcoming KIDAPS events. Beyond documentation, I handled critical hardware and software tasks, such as delivering a serviced laptop to the CDRRMO and performing on-site software maintenance at the Vice Mayor’s Office to activate Microsoft Office for a staff member's desktop. I also engaged in physical network troubleshooting at the City Planning Office, where I reconfigured their Wi-Fi settings and performed a hardware fix by replacing a faulty RJ45 connector to restore stable connectivity for their staff.

The week concluded with a special service rendered on Sunday, April 19, dedicated to a general cleaning and technical organization of the ICTO headquarters. This initiative was essential for maintaining an efficient workspace, allowing us to inventory our tools and ensure that the office environment was optimized for the following week’s operations. By balancing these immediate technical requests with broader office maintenance and coordinator consultations, I was able to gain a more holistic understanding of how the ICTO functions as the central technological hub for the entire Local Government Unit.
