OJT Weekly Report: Week 8
Period: March 30 – April 1, 2026 (Shortened Week)
The eighth week of my internship was notably brief due to the transition into the Lenten season and a shift in the LGU’s working hours. During the Monday Flag Raising Ceremony on March 30, Mayor Atty. Jose Paolo Evangelista announced an update to the work mandate. While the 4-day workweek (Monday to Thursday) remains in effect to continue energy conservation efforts, the daily shifts have returned to a standard 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM schedule.
My primary task at the start of the week was the consistent management of QR code scanning for employee attendance during the ceremony. Following the announcement, the remainder of the week was relatively light in terms of heavy technical tasks. I focused on administrative and logistical support, which included visiting various departments within the City Hall to return repaired IT equipment and deliver official documents from the ICTO.
These routine tasks provided a good opportunity to ensure that hardware serviced by our office was correctly redeployed and that inter-office communication remained fluid before the Lenten break.
